To celebrate we've picked 8 of the best Squamish adventures to pair with the beers in our Spring 8-pack when the time is right to visit again! Please follow all PHO Guidelines, stay local, and only visit Squamish when it is safe to do so.

As always, please enjoy responsibly, legally, and LEAVE NO TRACE.

1. FRESH PINTS ON THE BREWPUB PATIO

It might not sound like an adventure at first, but we are firm believers that every great adventure starts or ends with a nice cold beer. There’s no better way to get energized for a day of exploring Squamish than with the Howe Sound Brewpub Patio. We challenge you to sit for a fresh pint, surrounded by like-minded adventure seekers, gazing up at the unbeatable views of the Stawamus Chief and Mamquam Mountain Range, and not get excited about your next adventure!

The Brewpub Patio opens at 12 pm (weather permitting), where you can sample the beers from our Spring 8 Pack on tap, or pick one up on the way to your next adventure! Our tap list has a rotating lineup of seasonals, limited releases, and our core beers - there truly is a beer for any occasion. Plus our friendly servers are always willing to share their passion for Adventures with Howe Sound Brewing!

Pair it with Hazy Daze NE IPA - our signature Hazy IPA, a Northeast-style IPA is packed full of most tropical and juicy hops around; Citra, Vic Secret, Enigma, Centennial, Mosaic.

2. PADDLING THE SQUAMISH HARBOUR & ESTUARY WITH SEA TO SKY ADVENTURE CO

Squamish is surrounded by a number of waterways that connect the Squamish River to the remarkable Howe Sound. Paddling is undoubtedly one of the best ways to explore these waterways from a unique point of view!

Sea to Sky Adventure Co offers a Harbour & Estuary Tour that gets you out onto the Sound and to discover the beautiful Estuary, and it’s perfect for beginners. The waters tend to be a little cold - so if you aren’t keen on taking the actual plunge you can always go for a crisp Pilsner Plunge!

Sea to Sky Adventure Co’s Harbour and Estuary Tour is a gentle tour of the Squamish Estuaries and Harbour exploring the ecology and waterways of this unique and beautiful environment. They start early morning or later in the evening in order to enjoy the serenity of the glassy waters. If you're lucky you'll catch eagles spreading their wings, seals popping up to say hello, and views of the Tantalus mountain range and the waterfalls nestled in its hills. Includes gear, guide, and shuttle.

No experience necessary.

Pair it with Pilsner Plunge - A thirst-quenching Czech Pilsner with crisp hop notes and a clean malt profile.

3. WHITE WATER RAFTING THE ELAHO RIVER WITH SQUAMISH RAFTING

If you are looking for an adventure that gets your heart racing then look no further than White Water Rafting with Squamish Rafting! They offer an unforgettable White Water Rafting trip down the Elaho River, where you will face class 5 rapids and paddle through canyons guided by an experienced team!

Pair it with Super Jupiter Mango ISA - A light and refreshing ISA with notes of mango and tropical fruit.

4. MOUNTAIN BIKING SOME OF BC'S BEST BIKING TRAILS

Squamish is known for being a top-class mountain biking destination in the world - so there is no doubt that it is one of our favourite things to do!! Whether you are totally new to the sport or looking to advance your skills, there is a tonne of great Squamish businesses that can get out on the trails. Our friends at Ride BC Squamish offer rentals, guided rides, and lessons. They have a tonne of experience, biking and building the trails so you know you are in good hands!

Pair it with Jam Session Raspberry Cream Ale - Crisp with tart notes, and a smooth mouthfeel, brewed with natural raspberries.

Fun Fact: Ride BC built the classic mountain bike trail Pamplemousse, which is what we have named our Pamplemousse Pale Ale after where $2 from every 6-pack goes towards trail building, like Pamplemousse.

5. LAKE DAYS AT ALICE LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK

Nothing says Spring like your first lake day of the year, and no lake day is complete without a Hazy IPA like Hazy Daze. Squamish has an abundance of wonderful lakes to explore, and one of the best is Alice Lake. If you’re looking for an easy hiking trail in Squamish, that is dog-friendly, then you can start your day with the Four Lakes Trail.

If you prefer to spend your lake days on the water, you can always rent a kayak or paddleboard from our friends at Sea to Sky Adventure Co.

TIP: Alice Lake Provincial Park can be popular on weekends - arrive early to secure your spot on the beach!

Pair it with Hazy Daze NE IPA - The artwork for this label was inspired by a classic lake day with friends and sunshine!

6. CHASING WATERFALLS AT COHO

The trails at Coho Park are some of our all-time favourites in Spring - the trees are vibrant with growth, the sun shines through the moss and there are a few waterfalls with an impressive runoff from the rain.

The hiking trail is relatively easy, and dog friendly, with a number of different routes you can choose from. Make sure you are aware of your surroundings and location - we recommend downloading a GPS trail app, such as All Trails.

FUN FACT: Coho Park is named after the species of Salmon with the same name, which if you ever visit this park in the Fall or Winter you're guaranteed to see countless Coho returning to the small streams for spawning.

The trailhead for Coho Park is in a residential area, please be respectful of people's driveways and homes.

Pair it with: Pilsner Plunge - the artwork for this label was inspired by the active bears in Squamish and the large salmon population in the Squamish and Mamquam River.

7. THE BEST VIEW OF THE HOWE SOUND FROM MURRIN LOOP

Springtime in Squamish is out of this world! And there is no shortage of places to get close to the stars, hence the Sky in Sky in Sea to Sky ;) If you are looking for a hike that delivers on ‘out of this world’ views every time then you can’t go past the Murrin Loop Trail.

The Murrin Loop Trail has a number of viewpoints that are the best for sunsets over the Howe Sound, a perfect way to round off a day of adventures and say hello to the night sky! The loop can be completed either clockwise or counterclockwise, and the viewpoints are marked along the way.

How to get there: Park your car in the Murrin Lake Carpark, walk around the lake to start the trail.

Dog-friendly - yes! The Murrin Loop Trail is a dog-friendly hike, however, the beach and picnic areas are not. If you are bringing your dog with you you will need to go around the lake clockwise to the start of the Loop Trail. Make sure you keep your dog on a leash as the hike starts right next to the Sea to Sky Highway.

Pair it with: Super Jupiter Mango ISA - the artwork for this label was inspired by past labels. The Beaver on the front was originally from our 3 Beavers label, and has since moved onto space travel!

8. EXPLORE THE SQUAMISH WATERFRONT TRAILS FROM DOWNTOWN SQUAMISH

For the leisurely adventurers, but adventurers nonetheless, we love to recommend the Squamish Waterfront trails. These gentle trails have an impressive view of the Stawamus Chief, and get extra points for being dog and stroller friendly, as well as finishing up at the Brewpub in Downtown Squamish - how about that!

The Squamish Waterfront trail loops around the Blind Channel and out onto the Howe Sound - in the summer you are sure to have a front-row show of Kite-Surfers and paddlers (the same ones from the Sea to Sky Adventure Co. perhaps?) and it’s one of the best places to watch the sunset in Squamish, over the glassy waters of the Howe Sound.

Pair it with: Jam Session Raspberry Cream Ale - the artwork for this label is inspired by a good old jam session in your garage with good friends and good beer!
